Is playing a computer game at higher graphics settings in a low res windowed mode bad for your computer?

When I play Champions Online in Full Screen with higher graphics settings, the frame rate gets a little sluggish. However, when I put it in an 800x600 windowed mode, it runs fine. I'm just wondering if playing it at high quality this way is dangerous for my computer.
