Is the USA economy really bad?

Step back and look at the big picture here for a moment. The United States is spending yearly billions upon billions of dollars re-building other countries that we bombed. Spending billions yearly on 3rd world county in aid. Billions yearly in policing the world. U.S. tax payers pay to house over 25% of the world's prisoners and this don't count local jails. So tell me, we got all this money to throw around, how can we be in any kind of economy crisis?
