The story of god is the first mass believed fairytale?

The belief of god is an opiate of the masses that generates billions of dollars with ficious stories written by 'god' (lol) knows who to people that are not educated nor understand science to give them a false sense of well being and reality. (hense 'opiate') I am such an atheist that I laugh at the thought of god. As Stephen Hawking said "we are just an advanced breed of money's, but what makes us special is that we can understand the universe". Could shaking the belief of god from the masses be evolution (to back Darwin :)) before are very eyes? Intelligent answers please. ;)
