What is the name of this movie?!?

For the life of me, I cannot remember it. All I remember is that I saw it on a movie channel like Encore,WAM,or Starz in 2009 or 2010. There's a family who moves to this rural town. The dad was a painter (he had a nude painting of his wife) and there was a teen daughter and 2 younger kids. The family were atheists,but they had christian neighbors who took the kids to church when the mom got sick with cancer and the dad had to take care of the kids.The movie was set in the 1950's or 1960's.I thought that Gaby Hoffman played the daughter and Elizabeth Perkins played the mom, but I don't think that's right
